Veteran musician, Ex-Doe, has alleged that Shatta Wale once paid the Police to detain him for a few hours.
Speaking on TV3’s Simply Showbiz, he noted that people with influence and money manipulate the police in doing things they are not supposed to do.
Narrating his own experience, Ex-Doe said Shatta Wale once went to lie on him at the Police station that he beat and slapped him.
He was later arrested and detained for a few hours just because Shatta Wale gave them some money to pocket.
Ex-Doe remarked that this was what kind of brought a rift between him and the dancehall artiste so this canker needs to stop.
“There was a time I had a problem with Shatta Wale and then he went to report me that I wanted to beat him and kill him at the Police Station. So we went there to the Police station. When I got there, I thought it was not true so I was like no this is not true. How can I beat my brother? If there’s a little misunderstanding, why will I even beat him? He said I beat him and blah blah blah. When we got there I even tried to explain to the police but they detained me for a while…it’s not lawful but it’s happening“, Ex-Doe told the Host MzGee.
“Of course, he paid the police, my face he asked them to take some money. It happens. They didn’t allow me to even write my statements”, Ex-Doe said vehemently.
