Stonebwoy has distanced himself from a 3-year-old video that saw him endorsing the use of commercial motorcycle popularly called Okada.
In the video, the dancehall musician could be heard saying Okada is good so it should be allowed.
“Sometimes we need to join the Okada charley…too much traffic my guy. Okada is good for the people. Ashaiman boy… I had to join the Okada because of too much traffic”
Since, NDC’s presidential candidate has said that he’ll legalize Okada once he becomes president, members of the party begun sharing Stonebwoy’s old video with the intention that he agrees with Mahama’s proposed policy.
However, Stonebwoy in a tweet today 8th September 2020 afternoon took to Twitter to say that he’s in no way affiliated to any political party.
“My attention has been drawn to a 3 Year old video of me riding on an OKADA. Which is being Publicized As An Endorsement For A Political Party.. I disassociate Myself From this.. Please I Beg this is NOT in ANY WAY an ENDORSEMENT For ANY POLITICAL PARTY #GodBlessGhana, he tweeted.
