Veteran Ghanaian media personality and music producer, Okraku Mantey has said on TV Africa that Stonebwoy is still behaving like a street boy in Ashaiman.
Okraku noted that at Ashaiman where Stonebwoy grew up, it’s hands and gun that they use in reacting to issues. So that aggressive way of doing things is in the bloodstreams of the dancehall musician but there’s a need for him to repent and change for the better.
Okraku remarked that Stonebwoy needs to realize that who he is in the society now is different from who he used to be so there’s a need for him to put himself in check.
“it is outmoded to resort a gun at the least provocation to solve problems, asking him to stop behaving like a street boy in Ashaiman. That aggressive of I will handle, I would solve my problems with my hand or a gun…. I think that it is outmoded”, Okraku said.
“Stonebwoy is behaving the way he is because he grew up on streets of Ashaiman and there, “the only way of resolving conflict is by the use of hand and not dialogue”.
“The man comes from Ashaiman that is in his DNA. For all you know it is normal that when you touch them they don’t use verbal interaction, they use their hands. This is what they understand, so this is what he is used to. But now he has changed so he must accept that I am no longer where I came from”.
Okraku Mantey’s comments are coming at the back of viral reports that indicated that Stonebwoy slapped Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town.
